What is a CSA?
CSA or “Community Supported Agriculture” strengthens the bond between local farms and the
community. The basic idea: community members provide money in very early spring to support farm operations for the growing season. In exchange, they receive a "share” of the harvest,
often presented as a weekly box of produce which changes throughout the season to reflect the crop varieties, as well as any major crop successes or failures. At LIFE we offer Farm Days with
tours and time to meet the crew and other members. If participating in the growing sparks your interest, we schedule days as desired. Being part of our farm is about food and fun! Reserve a share now.
Why Choose LIFE'S CSA?

LIFE Farm is certified Organic. We use long term sustainable practices to grow the healthiest, most flavorful food possible and we really enjoy farming. We appreciate the opportuity to serve and feed our members and hope to share the enjoyment of farming as much as the great food. To achieve this, we offer -
Unrivaled Member Care
At LIFE farm we enjoy growing great food. We want you to enjoy eating it even more. So…
- We provide a weekly newsletter with interesting information about the farm and the food we send – including recipes.
- We listen and respond to member ideas.
- We are sensitive to allergens and dietary needs.
- We have solutions to work around vacations, family emergencies and general absences.
Diversity of Delicious Produce
We utilize our farm fields and greenhouses to provide an ever expanding variety of vegetables and fruit. In some weeks we buy in tree fruits to supplement the shares until we can establish our own orchards. The 2012 Weekly Produce Plan shows what we expect to put in the shares. As always slight variation may occur due to the influence of Mother Nature. At LIFE you can also personalize your share with eggs, meat, coffee, and other specialty foods.
