Welcome to LIFE Farm!
HAPPY 2012! The New Year is moving right along at LIFE Farm. After reviewing suggestions from 2011 CSA mebers we've decided what to plant for next year. Seeds are being ordered and the greenhouses cleaned out for new starts. You can see our 2012 plan.
We're also attending the Bloomington Winter Farmers Market, with Shiitakes, Portobellas, potatoes and greens. It's our first year to go every week. It will help us decide how many winter shares to offer next year. The mild fall weather sure extend the harvest from our outdoor fields of turnip, napa cabbage, lettuce, kale, and arugula. While we cann't expect the same for next year, we can get an understandiing of the limits of our greenhouses over this winter.
Community Supported Agriculture

Information on the 2012 CSA is now available. We've added all the details, including our new special share option of local natural cheeses, along with our other share additions. The Early-Bird Discount is available until Februaruy 15th. This early support really helps the winter cash flow. As I mentioned above, it's year round work to have a successful harvest. For all the details, visit the CSA page.
